For 25 years, Sherrie Duncan has provided technical expertise and project management for numerous natural resource projects and programs. Sherrie has extensive experience working on and leading multidisciplinary project teams to support federal, state, and local jurisdictions, tribes, and non-profits for permitting, regulatory compliance, restoration, monitoring and adaptive management, site investigations, and oversight.
Sherrie provides technical support for permitting and regulatory compliance with the Endangered Species Act (ESA), Rivers and Harbor Act (RHA), Clean Water Act (CWA), State Sediment Management and Water Quality Standards (SMS/WQS), National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), State Hydraulic Project Approval (HPA) and other local permitting and regulatory programs including Critical Areas and Shoreline Substantial Development Permit preparation.
Sherrie also shares her technical knowledge with her community serving as an environmental constituency representative of the South Central Action Area Caucus Group to the Puget Sound Partnership, and as a representative on the technical advisory group and citizens advisory committee for the Puyallup River and Chambers Creek Watersheds in Pierce County. Sherrie is also a member of the policy and technical advisory committee and President of the Board of Directors of Citizens for a Healthy Bay in Tacoma, Washington.
